The link immediately below is to a Telegraph article stating that future Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, plans to do a "Bank of England" on the Church of England! All is briefly and clearly explained if you follow the link.

Below that link is another explaining that this is not necessarily A Good Thing, as Winnie the Pooh would say.

I had planned to draft my own rather fuller comment about political processes having an impact on the future shape of the Anglican Communion. Gordon Brown seems to be in more of a hurry than I had anticipated. More in a few weeks.
