There used to be a tap on the wall to the left of the main entrance, you can still see where it was attached... but it is no longer a functional tap.
Good luck with your anti-agrophobia trials

Viv...

Many thanks for your reply...it's such a shame to see it down like that.

I was approached while passing through the Churchyard (anti-agoraphobia trials...wish me luck), come to think of it, by a lady who asked me where the water tap was. I remember that there once was one, but I've not seen it in years. I felt sorry for the lady, but was unable to help.

Is there still such a water tap there, at all?

I ask this only because I may one day be asked again.

As far as I know, if I'm thinking about the right tree, it was natural causes - it fell down while we were all in church the other week...not sure if it was old age or weather, probably a combination of both

Hi, Folks...

I was saddened to see a tree down in the churchyard, last time I was passing through.

To the best of anybody's knowledge, was this through wind, vandalism, ground-movement or just plain old age?

Nature put in a lot of work on that tree...it's such a shame to see it down.

Ian.
