Yes it is down to the move, well worth the work .

I'd be surprised if anyone managed to nick the boot scraper, it's got to be a fair old weight!! More likely it was taken away on the grounds of health and safety in case someone tripped on it and sued us!!

Mark...

I've heard nothing, so far. I suppose I'm pretty (sometimes over-) protective towards the building and the grounds and I find the possibility that it has been stolen a trifle tough to palate: I'd prefer to believe that it was taken indoors, long ago, in order to prevent theft - and, that it has merely been mislaid, since.

Yes: I've noticed a speedier arrival at this Forum, from the Home Page. If that's down to the move, then it was a move worth making.

Hi Ian

You're very welcome. Hope you're enjoying our new speedy server

Has anyone got to the bottom of the boot scraper yet? It's the APCM (church AGM) next week, I can ask around there if you still don't know.

Cheers,
Mark

I've removed the total number of posts from the bottom as it's not really useful and may just serve to confuse other users.

I tend to use the editors forum to cover technical issues with the editing/moderating team so that I don't exclude anyone by missing them out in the email. Also as we add further group leaders onto our editors list they can see what has gone on before FAQ's etc.

Simon...

Indeed, it does.

It's also nice to see a forum where no advertisements scar the interface and cause attendance discouragement.

This is an attractively peaceful place.

Doesn't that just go to show how much work they are all doing behind the scenes to get things up and running and keep them going!! I'm impressed and I'm not even from St Andrews.

Keep it up!

Viv...

Thank you for explaining that to me.

I suspected that I was suffering a whole traffic jam of senior moments, for a while, there.

The discrepancies are indeed due to the hidden site editors forum where we sort out bugs and other technical issues with the site

Hi, Guys...

I notice that the "Posts" column shown on the entrance page shows numbers that add up to 32 posts, but the number at the bottom of the forum frame indicates that there have been 139 posts.

Is this discrepancy down to hidden sections for use by Administrators and/or Moderators, or is there a bug in the forum software?

Ian.
