Coffee Morning for Kenya

We had a coffee morning to raise money for Carlile College in Kenya following the recent political unrest there. We raised over £250, many thanks to all contributed.

Blagovest Ensemble

The St Petersburg Ensemble returned to St Andrew's on 15th April 2008 and again delighted us with a mixture of Russian Sacred and Folk music. Here they are relaxing afterwards!

Quasar

Last friday, (18th April) we went to quasar in Chester, everyone had a great time, even Darren because he was top scorer in the first round (even though he must have cheated :-) ) And Callum won the second. Great fun and we're looking forward to similar stuff in the future!

Arrived @ Bala

So far so good... the rains holding off... we've all got our rooms... sound stuff is set up, the band are practising... Darren's confiscated some water balloons already, everyone is starved and can't wait for lunch!

Litlle Fishes finger painting

BonfireNight

It was a windy night, but everyone enjoyed the blazing bonfire and fireworks at the Tedstone's farm. Afterwards there were hot dogs and drinks in the barn. See here to see some photos of the night.

Charity Christmas Card Sale

The Poverty Action Group held a sale where charities were invited to come and sell Christmas cards and other Christmas related items. Lots of people came to shop in a relaxed atmosphere over a cup of tea. Here is a glimpse of the action

Prime Time Craft morning

Prime Time held a very successful craft morning including card making and a cookery demonstration offering new variations on the traditional mince pie. The event concluded with a very tasty lunch. Have a look at some more pictures here.

Fiesta Latina

About 160 people gathered to celebrate Harvest South American style at Bromborough Civic Centre. Good food and dancing were enjoyed by all and there were speakers sharing their experiences of South America. To see some pictures of the evening click here
