Since 1994 we have had a fulltime paid youth worker, who is responsible for the youth work at both St Andrew's and Townfield churches. Some of the youth worker's (and the youth team's) time is given to different groups of teenagers, programmes or projects which may not bring young people directly into the St Andrew 's / Townfield Church buildings. This reflects our church's massive commitment to see young people being reached and discipled in a way that brings glory to Christ, but does not necessarily increase the size of our church youth group.

The youth work at St Andrew's has changed in style and direction many times over the years, as it should.  Chris Murphy, our youth worker for several years before leaving us in August 2007, had a relational, fast pace, hands-on approach to youth work. To gain a feel for how things run at present Chris put together this picture that should give you the youth work story here at Bebington Parish Church.

We have recently appointeed Christopher Collins (Stoff) as our new youth worker.
