Our Purpose is advanced by the content and delivery of our Programme.
Friendship, encouragement and mutual esteem are the forerunners of witness and fellowship. Meetings are preceded by a time for conversation and refreshments. We keep a register of member’s attendance so that we can remain in contact. We will organise social events that meet our members desire to extend our time together and include our families. We will include in each year’s calendar of events a meeting in which members talk briefly about their own interests. We extend to all members an invitation to address us on any topic that advances our purpose.
All wholesome activity interests us. Our meetings are to inform and entertain the membership and celebrate the talents of our speakers. Meeting on the first Tuesday of each month from September to June, we aim to provide a stimulating calendar of events. We meet from 10:30am until 12:00 noon.
Our meetings include prayers and a hymn of Christian fellowship. Our programme will include talks that address Christ in the world.
Our calendar of events will accommodate a platform for organisations and individuals to inform us of their service and ministry in our community.
Membership is open to any man who accedes to our purpose. Average attendance at meetings is about 35.
The current programme of speakers may be found in the Fellowship’s ‘mailbox’ in church or from a committee member.
